Uranium ore is a resource found on the map. Instead of being smelted in a furnace, uranium ore must be processed in a centrifuge to produce uranium-235 and uranium-238, which is used to craft fuel for the nuclear reactor and in various types of ammunition.
In order to mine uranium ore, sulfuric acid must also be fed into the electric mining drill used to mine the ore, at a rate of 10 sulfuric acid per 10 ore mined. Because of this, uranium ore cannot be mined by hand. The ore has a green glow, making it easily seen at night.
