Assembling machine 1 is the most basic assembling machine. It can craft items that require up to two types of ingredients and that do not use liquids.

- Ironically, it is incapable of producing copies of itself, due to requiring 3 different ingredients to craft.
- It is the only building affected by beacons without module slots.
