Alien science pack/infobox The Alien Science Pack, also known as the "purple potion", is consumed by Labs to research the most advanced technologies. It can only be crafted from Alien artifacts, which are found in the ruins of enemy Spawners.
Tips:
- Depending on difficulty and playstyle, it may be hard to get the first Alien artifacts. A way to get the most research out of the collected artifacts is to use an Assembling machine 3 with four Productivity module 2s loaded, to generate the most Alien Science Packs possible. Once the Productivity module 3 has been researched, the module 2s can be replaced with 3s for even better productivity.
- Using Productivity modules in Labs can also decrease the number of Alien Science Packs required, but due to time and energy tradeoffs this is generally not recommended unless acquiring artifacts is causing extreme problems.
