Power, Work, Energy

I would find this easier, if just energy and power were use in this page. I found work somewhat unnecessary because we don't have to deal with forces (electrical or mechanical), which do the work.--Rk84 (talk) 15:42, 24 February 2014 (CET)

More units

If someone has time:

  • area
  • speed
  • throughput
    • items
    • liquids
  • volume
    • items: stacks / chests
    • liquids: pipes/tanks

About "Work"

This paragraph "It doesn't make much sense to calculate work with the much more common (at least, common in the real world) unit of kilowatt hours, because although the game runs more or less in real-time and the units are meant to be relatively realistic, 1 kW h is a lot of energy, and in fact so much so that you can't reasonably represent the value of a piece of coal that way."

  • 1 kWh = 3,6 MJ, so this is wrong, but i can't come up with a better way to write this — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alekthefirst (talkcontribs) 09:12, 6 February 2018‎
I suspect the real resoning behind this is that kWh is not an SI (derived) unit, so it is not used by factorio. I changed the page to say this instead. -- Bilka (talk) - Admin 19:15, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
