This article is a stub, and not comprehensive.
You can help this wiki by expanding it.

This article contains content on features that will be included in 0.16. These features are confirmed, but not yet added to the game.

The buffer chest functions as both a requester and passive provider chest. It can request certain items and at the same time provide them to the player or requester chests but not other buffer chests. This means that the new logistic priority when pushing items to the network in version 0.16 is:

  1. Requesters/Player
  2. Construction orders
  3. Buffer chests
  4. Storage chests

Usage

Priority Providers

Assemblers inserting into a buffer chest for products that need to be taken away with higher priority than passive providers - e.g. recipe waste products in modded
