Lazy bastard is an achievement you can earn in Factorio by completing the game by handcrafting 111 or fewer items.

This task isn't as easy as it first appears because it counts all of the prerequisites for crafted items as well as the item itself. For example, making a pair of small electric poles requires 2 wood and 2 copper cables. You have to hand-craft the wood and copper cables, so a pair of wood is crafted with a raw wood and a pair of copper cables is crafted with a copper plate. Hence, it requires the hand-crafting of 3 items (a pair of wood, a pair of copper cables, and a pair of small electric poles) to get a small electric pole.

† If you are sure to gather up all of the other resources you are going to need and have a few extras for the future things you will need, you can use your free furnace for the boiler and save on crafting an item there. You can then craft a new furnace in your Assembling Machine 1. ‡ You can use Assembling Machine 1 as an ingredient for your Assembling Machine 2. You can then craft a new Assembling Machine 1 in your Assembling Machine 2.

Walkthrough using above table

Step #	Instructions
1	Marry your burner mining drill to your furnace on a coal resource patch. (Note: you may have to chop some trees to clear a spot to fit both.)
2	If you didn't have to chop any trees for step #1, chop down a tree to feed your drill and get it started.
3	You can collect the result of the first burn from the furnace to feed the drill and let it run. You should collect at least 3 stacks of 50 coal from the furnace before moving on.
4	Take your drill, furnace, and coal to a resource patch of copper ore and marry your drill to your furnace as in step #1.
5	Use [CTRL]-[RCLICK] to place half of your coal in the drill then drag the rest of the coal to the furnace.
6	Mine/smelt at least 38 copper plates. I usually let it run until it stops (caps at 100 or when one of the two things runs out of fuel) while I go exploring my area to locate and clear trees from my iron ore area.
7	Repeat steps #4 & #5 on your iron ore resource. You will need to mine/smelt at least 141 iron plates (you start with 8 in your inventory that count towards this).
8	Hand-craft the following items: Offshore pump Steam engine Lab Small electric pole 10 science pack 1 (red) Boiler
9	Place all of your newly crafted items in a configuration where the pump feeds the boiler which powers the engine. Set your electric pole right next to your engine and the lab next to that. Fill the lab with the science packs and research automation.
10	While your lab is busy doing research, manually mine at least 15 stone (Note: It is much faster to mine one large stone rock which gives 20 stone than it is to mine 5 stone in a resource patch)
11	You now have access to assembling machine 1. Hand-craft one and set it in the coverage area for your electric pole. Have it manufacture at least 3 new furnaces. Place one on each resource for iron, copper, and coal. If you have extra furnaces, a second one can be placed on coal with enough room between the two for the miner (so you can drop a miner in the middle and just rotate it when the furnace is full of coal to mine more). You can also place one on a stone resource. If you still have more, place two more on your coal resource creating a compass around a central spot for your miner.
12	Set up your mine to mine some more iron plates and start manufacturing 30 iron gear wheels (takes 60 iron plates) and then 30 Automation science packs (takes 30 iron gears and 30 copper plates)
13	Fill the lab with the science packs and research electronics.
